The paper "Wake-activated neuronal populations that regulate sleep drive", from our project "Sleep and the mouse brain atlas" was accepted for publication in Nature! This was the work of many collaborators, led by William Joo, Clare Diester and other members of Alex Schier's lab for many years. CeDA was happy to be a part of this project, and we'd like to extend our congratulations to all the authors and collaborators for this achievement! A link with the DOI of the paper will be added here once it is available.
Our paper "Timeline Embedding for Papy-Date, a new Dataset of Greek Papyri dated to the Year", led by Dinh Dung Van and Isabelle Marthot-Santaniello's group, was accepted at the ICDAR 2026 Workshop on Computational Paleography (IWCP). This paper introduces a new dataset for papyrus dating tasks, covering a span of over 1000 years, and a generalizable sinusoidal positional timeline embedding that improves upon previous regression and classification approaches to papyrus dating. CeDA will be in Vienna for ICDAR 2026, so come chat with us if you are also attending the conference!
